What is Scootle?


At the beginninscootleg of this course, we were asked to set up many online accounts such as ‘Scootle’. One of the activities for week 3 was to use Scootle to locate online resources that are linked to the content descriptions on the Australian Curriculum. This was my first experience exploring Scootle and I discovered very quickly what an amazing resource that it can be for teachers.

Teachers can read the content descriptions and elaborations from the Australian Curriculum and it handily provides direct links to ACARA.

Scootle is a digital curriculum resource portal governed by Education Services Australia (ESA) on behalf of the Australian Government and the Australian states and territories. It makes available to teachers access to thousands of classroom resources and teacher reference materials.
